Dr. Daysylia Willoughby

Dr. Dasylia Willoughby joined Greenbrook with a deep commitment to integrative and patient-centered care in the treatment of depression and anxiety. She is a board-certified adult psychiatrist through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and brings a unique psychodynamic lens to her clinical work, supporting patients in both their symptom relief and long-term emotional growth.

Dr. Willoughby earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. She completed her residency in psychiatry at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital. In addition to being a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Maryland Psychiatric Society, she is also a member of the American Academy of Psychodynamic Psychiatry and Psychoanalysis. 

Dr. Willoughby integrates psychodynamic understanding into each patient interaction. She is passionate about helping patients heal not just at the symptom level but at the root of their struggles, particularly through evidence-based treatments like Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato therapy. Her approach blends thoughtful psychotherapy with innovative neuromodulation and medication strategies to foster sustainable recovery and resilience.
