Dr. Shaheda Maroof joined Greenbrook TMS in December 2019 as Medical Director of our Clayton Center. Dr. Maroof grew up in India where she earned her Bachelors degree in Medicine. She was the receipient of a state and national merit scholarship in India, and has been living in the United States for 30 years. Dr. Maroof completed her Residency in Adult Psychiatry and her Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from Wayne State University and Duke University. Dr. Maroof says she was drawn to TMS Therapy as a modality because "I was excited that my patients can be offered TMS Therapy without having the side effects they had with medication. The best part is they can come get treated and get back to life as usual as soon as they leave the clinic. I'm so glad I can offer TMS to my patients who were feeling so hopeless."
