Dr. Leroy Arenivar joined Greenbrook in January of 2020 in our South Austin location. Dr. Arenivar grew up in the Texas Panhandle and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in Austin. He then went on to graduate from the McGovern School of Medicine in Houston in 2007. Dr. Arenivar completed his Adult Psychiatric Residency at Baylor College of Medicine (Menninger Department of Psychiatry) in Houston in 2011. After his residency, he completed a Fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of California San Diego. Dr. Arenivar has been a staff Psychiatrist at Lone Star Circle of Care since 2013 and is on the faculty of Texas A&M College of Medicine. Dr. Arenivar strives to empower his patients and connect them to the most effective treatments for their condition whether that be psychotherapy, medications, or treatments like TMS. Because he has seen TMS noticeably improve depression symptoms in patients that have had marginal improvement with other forms of treatment, he is excited to be able to connect more patients and their clinicians to TMS through Greenbrook.
