Regional TMS Technician | McLean, VA

Greenbrook TMS is a fast-paced neuromodulation treatment center, requiring highly motivated, empathetic, highly skilled & trainable team members who display an inordinate ability to communicate across job functions up to the physician level tactfully, and succinctly. Our Regional TMS Technician opportunity is a full-time regional position covering multiple centers requiring familiarity & ability to be certified on multiple TMS devices, utilizing multiple protocols. This is an opportunity to work with the best and brightest minds within the neuromodulation field. We utilize a breakthrough treatment modality for treating depression, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, or TMS Therapy to treat major depressive disorder and OCD.

Primary responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Delivering TMS Therapy to our patients - training is provided
  • Providing a safe and therapeutic environment for daily treatment sessions
  • Trains new staff members
  • Audits medical records for compliance
  • Office administrative tasks such as managing leads, reporting statistical activity to center manager, scheduling appointments, collecting copays, and handling all medical records in compliance with HIPAA

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in the field of psychology, social work, or related major
  • At least one year in a patient care/mental health office setting

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Billing software knowledge
  • Insurance knowledge
  • Clinical Interviewing
  • Basic Life Support Certification

Based primarily out of our Tysons center, the expectation is the candidate is flexible on last minute notice to travel to one of our centers throughout the Northern Virginia area (including Ashburn, Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Reston, and Woodbridge). A high degree of flexibility and willingness to travel on the beltway is required. Because of this schedule, you’ll work with several different physicians, and staff members, and understanding the nuances between physician preferences is essential to excelling in the role.

Hours vary M-F from 7a to 7p with shifts lasting 8 hours per day. Holidays are off & paid, but we do provide patient care on Saturdays after or before holidays to ensure proper protocol delivery.
