Mr. Burke is currently a studio analyst at Rogers Sportsnet, a Canadian television sports network, a position he has held since May 2018. Mr. Burke received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Providence College, and following graduation from Harvard Law School in 1981, he practiced corporate and securities law with a focus on professional athletes and teams. From 1992 to 2018, Mr. Burke has been the President and/or General Manager of several hockey organizations, including the Calgary Flames, Toronto Maple Leafs, Anaheim Ducks, Vancouver Canucks, and the Hartford Whalers. Mr. Burke previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Sports Lawyers Association, Canuck Place Children’s Hospice Foundation, and Rugby Canada. Mr. Burke has also served on the selection committee for the Hockey Hall of Fame.
